You can use high-concentration isopropyl alcohol to help with the stubborn spots. Use tweezers to gently pull and remove the rubber microphone sleeve off of the microphone. Transfer the sleeve onto the replacement part. Compare your new replacement part to the original part. You may need to transfer remaining components or remove adhesive backings from the new part before installing.
